The Carmel office will be led by Mark Wilson and Jana Bradford, real estate partners specializing in luxury properties in the Carmel, Pebble Beach, Monterey and Carmel Valley communities for more than 10 years. Morgan Lane’s managing broker, Linda Carroll, will oversee the new branch. Morgan Lane anticipates hiring several more veteran Realtors to fill out the Carmel office.

Demand for real estate in the Carmel and Monterey Peninsula continues to be strong, drawing buyers from across the country. The majority of homes for sale in the area are currently priced between $1-3 million. According to R E InfoLink, the MLS service that serves Realtors from San Francisco to San Luis Obispo, the median home price in 2005 for a single family home in Carmel was $1,575,000 and in Carmel Valley was $1,295,000. Condo/townhomes had a median selling price of $728,500 in Carmel and $635,000 in the Valley.
