Bibendum organises En Primeur tasting in London in April

BIBENDUM BORDEAUX TASTING – 2005, 2004 and a ‘selection du Chateau’
The Nursery Pavilion at Lord’s Cricket Ground, London is the venue for Bibendum’s ground-breaking En Primeur tasting of classed growth Bordeaux — April 26, 2006. Customers will have the unique opportunity to taste:

• The brand new 2005 vintage from barrel samples
• The 2004 vintage of the same wines, to be bottled later this year
• A third recent vintage of the Chateau’s own choosing

This three-cornered tasting will offer potentially the only chance for prospective En Primeur purchasers in the UK to taste the new wines, both in the context of earlier vintages, and in the presence of the producers themselves.

With 30 chateaux expected at the tasting, there will be around 90 wines for customers to taste. In the context of this vintage, which is already attracting hype of interplanetary proportions, this is an unmissable chance for tasters to make up their own minds.

Customers will also have the chance to taste recent select vintages of Chateaux Cheval Blanc and d’Yquem, in the company of winemaker Olivier Berrouet.*
