Systembolaget – Consumer trends in the Swedish market

A state monopoly controlling the Swedish market, Systembolaget, was founded to protect public health which makes it impossible to make money on alcoholic beverages. Interview with: Ann Burgaz-Schmidt (Purchasing Manager, Systembolaget AB)
Topics discussed: The support from the Swedish population; the imminent decision of the European Court concerning internet sales of wine in Sweden; where taxes from internet sales should be paid; how wine producers can influence their wine imports into Sweden (with Fabrice Dubourdieu).
