Enotria Winecellars has been appointed sole UK Agent for the award winning Nepenthe range, with immediate effect. Recently described as, “one of the most exciting wineries in Australia”,* Nepenthe is a significant addition to Enotria’s increasingly extensive New World portfolio, adding considerable weight to its Australian offering.
The change of UK agent comes as the family owned Adelaide Hills producer enters a significant new era in its dynamic history. James Twedell, CEO and son of the Nepenthe’s founder, has recently appointed chairman Martin Baily to the team, alongside ex Global Marketing Manager of Hardy’s, Vicki Greaves. James Twedell comments, “Now is the time to implement the next stage for Nepenthe Wines, and we see our move to Enotria as an important part of this.”
While increasing its significant presence in the off-trade, Enotria will champion Nepenthe’s entry into the on-trade with the new range ‘Quest’. Based on the success of its cool climate Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, the range will focus on premium quality Australian regionality.
