Premier Wine Event benefits from Liebherr Support.

The Winemakers’ Federation of Australia (WFA), host body of the Wine Australia International 2006 event, has welcomed the continued support of Liebherr Wine Cellars.

Wine Australia International 2006 will be presented between 14-17 July 2006 at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour, highlighting the excellence, depth and diversity of Australian wine.

WFA Chief Executive, Stephen Strachan said that WFA was delighted to continue its relationship with Liebherr through Wine Australia International 2006.

“This is the sixth biennial Wine Australia event to be held since 1996 and the third consecutive event presented with the valuable support of Liebherr”, he said.

“Wine Australia International 2006 is a celebration of the best of Australian wine, allowing consumer, trade and media visitors to access more than 300 wineries from around Australia, alongside exclusive wine tastings, dinners and debates.”

Liebherr manufactures and supplies refrigerators and an extensive range of wine storage equipment and will be taking prime exhibition space at Wine Australia International 2006.

Sue Larkin, Liebherr’s National Brand Manager, said that Wine Australia International 2006 was the ideal place to showcase to the industry and the true wine connoisseurs the extensive and advanced range of wine cellars that Liebherr has to offer to the Australian market.

“We received amazing results from the last show in Sydney and we look forward to a great event in 2006”, she said.

“We are very excited about presenting two of our latest wine cellars at the show, an integrated wine cellar and a stainless steel glass door wine cellar, with two zones that work completely independent of each other, all digital and LED lighting. These two innovative products are a real ‘must see’ at the show.”

“Liebherr is proud to be giving away the amazing Wkr 4177 Wine Cellar at the show, valued at $4,329. This unit features a 169 bottle capacity, electronic controls, tinted glass door, cherry wood shelving, temperature range from 5C to 22C, stunning interior lighting, audible door alarm, lockable and with a burgundy finish.”
