Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande allies itself to Louis Roederer

May-Eliane de Lencquesaing is opening a new chapter in the long history of Château Pichon-Longueville de Lalande Comtesse de Lalande deciding to ally herself with the family owners of Champagne Louis Roederer.

The history of the domain started in 1689 continued and developed with the Master Viticulturist Joseph de Pichon Longueville in the 18th century. The quality and elegance of its wines remained the constant philosophy of the successive owners.

Thanks to this alliance Louis Roederer continues its interest in the terroirs of Bordeaux which started more than ten years ago in Saint Estèphe, when it acquired the Châteaux Pez and Haut-Beauséjour. With this alliance it has added to its properties in South Africa - Bernadotte and Glenelly, Champagne Deutz, la Maison Delas Frères, Adriano Ramos Pinto (Port), les Domaines Ott* without forgetting the Roederer Estate and Scharffenberger in California.
