Prominent South African wine producer ‘the company of wine people™’ has teamed up with the Nordic’s biggest wine distributor, V&S Wine. The partnership will see ‘the company of wine people™’ supply its own wines, and wines for V&S brands such as La Chasse and Chill Out, for distribution by V&S to the full Nordic region.

V&S Wine is one of three business areas of V&S Group. With a head office in Stockholm, and subsidiaries in all Nordic countries, Poland, Great Britain, Germany and the US, V&S Group is one of the ten biggest wine and spirits companies in the world, and owner of the third biggest spirit brand, ABSOLUT VODKA. Its net sales of wine in 2005 amounted to 9.7 million nine litre cases.

V&S has been recognised for its distribution excellence by Swedish retail monopoly Systembolaget, who has ranked V&S as its best distributor for the 5th consecutive year.

President of V&S Wine Anders Carlson says, “There’s a great demand for South African wine, particularly in Sweden and Finland.
