Wines of South Africa is delighted to announce the appointment of Jo Mason as its new UK Market Manager. Jo Mason, currently associate director at Westbury Communications, and will move to WOSA in January 2007.
Her clients at Westbury included major wine brands, boutique wineries, generic campaigns and importers, giving her a broad level of knowledge and experience working in many different areas of the wine and spirits trade. Importantly she has generic marketing experience from her work with South of France Wines (AOC Languedoc and VDP d’Oc), amongst others. Jo was campaign manager for the much acclaimed Wines of Argentina ‘Wines With Rhythm’ campaign in 2003.
Prior to working for Westbury Communications Jo spent five years working for Majestic Wine Warehouses – starting on the shop floor and ending up as a business development manager involved in setting up Majestic’s on-trade business.
