The 14th international confrontation of the world’s best Chardonnay wines, Chardonnay du Monde®, organised by Forum Œnologie, was held from 14 to 17 March 2007 at Château des Ravatys, the wine estate of the Pasteur Institute in the Burgundy wine region of France.
Strongest chardonnay wine concentration and a never yet reached geographical diversity: 949 wine samples from 38 countries.
The judges, including 50% from outside France, tasted in accordance with international wine judging rules and in strict application of Quality Assurance procedures.
After 4 days of judging, the panels awarded medals to 315 wines, or a third of the samples presented.
