The Eighth version of the Wine Salon – “VIII Salón del Vino en Chile” was confirmed for September 7th and 8th of 2007 in “Espacio Cero in the City of Concepción”, in the Bio Bio Region. This year, among the exhibitors will include Pisco, Organic Products, Olive oil, Beers, Liquors, Chocolates and Gastronomic Products. Regional wineries as Tierra y Fuego, Männle, Tierras de Arrau, Casas de Giner, Casanueva, Valle de Itata and Viñedos Larqui already confirmed their attendance.
Sergio Bustos Cabrera, Region Manager of the wine production company said “After organizing the seventh version in the city of Santa Cruz last year, we have achieved a strategic alliance with Felipe Innocenti Barudy, Manager of Espacio Cero to accomplish this emblematic wine event in Concepcion, one of the cities where the wine has been part of the country´s history”
“It is necessary to emphasize that VIII Salón del Vino started in the city of La Serena and every year changes the city due to the great success of the event itself and this year, will include several new business opportunities like Tourism companies (Hotels & Resorts) and Real Estate” said Verónica Moreno, Producer of the event.
The Region of the Bio Bio is considered to be one of the most promissory wine zones of the country since, in the last years, prestigious Wineries of the Central Valley, as Bodega Córpora (Gracia, Porta and Agustinos), Cono Sur – which belongs to Concha y Toro.
