“73% European, 18% American, 9% Asian had the opportunity to acquire prestigious vintages. International buyers demonstrated their interest in Bordeaux and in particular for bottles whose provenance was an important private collection. Of particular note were the prices obtained for the rare vintages of Champagne Krug (lots 383 and 389) which doubled their estimates” declared Oliver Wiseman director of the Wine Department.
