Shai Froelich appointed as Sales Manager, On-Premise Wine

Larry Goodrich, Executive Vice President, General Manager of Southern Wine & Spirits of New York, Inc., a division of Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc., the nation’s leading wine and spirits distributor with a tradition of delivering the highest levels of service excellence since 1968, today announced the appointment of Shai Froelich as Sales Manager, On-Premise Wines. According to Mr. Goodrich, the appointment is effective August 1, 2007.

Mr. Goodrich said that Mr. Froelich’s extensive sales and account management experience with some of the country’s leading chain and independent on-premise operators will help enhance the Company’s overall on-premise sales efforts in the critical metropolitan New York market. He added that Mr. Froelich will report to Brett Dunne, Vice President, General Sales Manager –Wines of Southern Wine & Spirits of New York and Jim Allen, Executive Vice President, General Manager – Wines of Southern Wine & Spirits of New York.

Mr. Goodrich said, “Shai previously worked for Southern in our Florida operation and we are glad to welcome him back to the Southern family. Shai has years of invaluable experience calling on and serving some the country’s most innovative restaurant and hospitality groups, and we count on him to help us boost our already industry-leading levels of wine service in our New York metro market.”

Prior to joining Southern, Mr. Froelich has more than three decades of experience in senior sales and management positions at some of the country’s leading wine and spirits distribution firms. Mr. Froelich is a graduate of Adelphi University in Garden City, Long Island, New York, with a B.A. in Communications. He is married and has two sons.
