France is to offer nearly €1m to help winemakers cut their reliance on pesticides in vineyards, after a study revealed many of the country’s waterways were contaminated.
Researchers are being encouraged to submit project proposals to France’s agriculture ministry, which will hand out the €900,000 funding.
