Burgundy goes international on the web

Burgundy wines are learning to speak ever more languages!

The BIVB has just launched a site about them in Danish (www.bourgognevine.dk), another in Swedish (www.bourgogneviner.se) and yet another in German
(www.burgund-weine.de). Internet users can thus discover in their respective languages all the information about the history, grape varietals, vineyards and professionals (domaines, merchant houses, and cooperative cellars) that go to make up the wealth and especially the diversity of this wine-growing region which, despite its small size, has a great reputation.

In addition to this, the Danish and Swedish sites are presenting “20 top discoveries”, a range of wines specially selected for each country by professionals in the distribution industry and specialised opinion leaders. The emphasis is on excellent value-for money.

Mini-sites in Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Russian will also be launched in the coming months
