Rutherford & Associates, the leading route accounting and management software for food and beverage
distributors, have announced the latest version of eoStar route distribution software. The latest eoStar version includes enhancements to route distribution mapping for fuel efficiency, report and promotion creation and mobile-device interoperability to enable beer and wine distributors to operate lean and green in times of industry consolidation and changes.
Rutherford & Associates’ flagship product, eoStar, manages more than $1
billion in consumer packaged goods, predominately beer and wine, for
distributors across North America.

The product upgrade features available include:
— Mobile application enhancements: Redesigned eoMobile application
offering support for free goods, more downloadable reporting, and easier to
use interface for drivers and salespeople.
— Microsoft Tablet PC integration: The tablet application integration
provides presell agents bigger screens to increase efficiency and work
productivity while on the road.
— Fuel cost analysis: Calculate route fuel costs within eoStar to
configure most efficient routes for beer and wine distribution.
— Enhanced reporting: Product and customer sets, additional Ion fields
and reports, and a new integrated invoice and receivables report designer
add even more flexibility and ease of use to eoStar’s reporting
capabilities.
— MillerCoors application enhancements: Tighter integration with Coors
and Miller forecast and purchasing tools.
— Promotional support: Easily update promotions and print out
promotional labels.
— Microsoft Virtual Earth: Take pictures of retail operations through
Virtual Earth, and store them in the customer profile module to help
drivers easily identify new customers on routes.
